Cocodrilos - Piratas 82-60 The game between Top Four teams took place in Caracas. Second ranked host Cocodrilos (19-7) smashed 3rd placed Piratas (16-9) 82-60. Cocodrilos dominated down low during the game scoring 44 of its points in the paint compared to Piratas' 22. They outrebounded Piratas 40-29 including 30 on the defensive glass. The best player for the winners was Dominican center Luis Santos (203-1994, college: St.Louis) who had a double-double by scoring 22 points and 10 rebounds (on 10-of-11 shooting from the field). Dominican Juan Guerrero (203-1993) chipped in a double-double by scoring 12 points and 10 rebounds. The former international center Javinger Vargas (202-1990) produced 17 points and Dominican guard Juan Suero (196-1993) added 13 points respectively for the guests. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. The victory was the third consecutive win for Cocodrilos. The best player for the winners was American forward Will Davis II (203-1992, college: UC Irvine) who scored 21 points and 8 rebounds. His fellow American import guard Ramon Galloway (190-1991, college: La Salle) chipped in 15 points and 5 assists. American point guard DaQuan Brooks (177-1990, college: W.Connecticut) produced 27 points and American-Puerto Rican forward Jonathan Ocasio (196-1992, college: New Haven) added 14 points and 8 rebounds respectively for the guests. His fellow American import swingman Jordan Williams (198-1992, college: N.Texas) chipped in 18 points and 5 rebounds. It was an exceptional evening for Turkish Alihan Demir (206-1996, college: Minnesota) who led the winners and scored 11 points and 9 rebounds. Dominican point guard Richard Bautista (185-1997) accounted for 12 points for the winning side. Heroes' coach Ivan Garcia allowed to play the deep bench players in such tough game.
