The championship match result is below: Team Lacey - 46 High School Posse - 42 Top Scorers Team Lacey - Enid Dakers 20 pts / 10 rebounds / 1 assist / 3 steals Tifara Swift 13 pts / 4 rebounds / 2 assist H/S Posse - Glenda Torres 17 pts / 9 rebounds / 2 assist / 4 steals Victoria Zalaya 10 pts / 2 rebouns / 3 steals
Team Lacey was named in honor of Lacey Rosales, whose life was cut short earlier this year, by her teammates.

The 2009 Belize District Primary Schools Basketball Finals is set for Thursday February 12, at the Belize City Centre.
The district finals will determine who the representatives to the National Primary Schools Basketball Championship scheduled for the weekend of February 20 and 21 in Orange Walk Town are: Queen Square Anglican School (Belize City), St. Ignatius School (Belize City), Burrell Boom Methodist (Belize Rural), and La Isla Bonita (San Pedro- Belize Rural)

The 2009 Belize District Primary Schools Basketball Finals is set for Thursday February 12, at the Belize City Centre.
The district finals will determine who the representatives to the National Primary Schools Basketball Championship scheduled for the weekend of February 20 and 21 in Orange Walk Town are: Queen Square Anglican School (Belize City), St. Ignatius School (Belize City), Burrell Boom Methodist (Belize Rural), and La Isla Bonita (San Pedro- Belize Rural).
In the female competition the schools are: Belize Elementary School (Belize City), Queen Square Anglican School (Belize City), La Democracia Government School (Belize Rural), and St. Johns Primary School (Belize City).

The ATLIB Northern Region held its basketball tournament on Saturday, 22 November 2008. Wesley Junior College was the host school. Games were played in the St. Johns College Gym.
The tournament was a round robin. The top two finishers will advance to the ATLIB National Basketball Tournament to be held Saturday, 29 November, in San Ignacio Town. Galen University is the host school.
Male teams came from Corozal Junior College, Muffles Junior College, St.

Thus, out of the male teams, WJC came first and SJCJC second; out of the female teams, SJCJC came first and WJC second.
