Seventeenth-ranked San Lorenzo (10-20) gave a tough game to eleventh ranked Olimpico (15-18) in La Banda on Monday. Olimpico managed to secure only three-point victory 79-76. However their fans expected much easier game. Olimpico forced 21 San Lorenzo turnovers. It was a great evening for guard David Perez (188-2000) who led his team to a victory scoring 25 points and 4 assists. Ecuadorian forward Aaron Capurro (201-2000) helped adding 14 points and 9 rebounds. Guard Juan Ramayo (185-2002) responded with 19 points. Both coaches used bench players in such tough game. Olimpico maintains eleventh place with 15-18 record, which they share with Penarol. San Lorenzo at the other side keeps the seventeenth position with 20 games lost. Olimpico will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game. San Lorenzo will play at home against Boca Jrs (#3) and will have a slim chance for a victory.
16th ranked Argentino (12-21) was outscored at home by seventh ranked Quimsa (19-13) with the biggest margin this round 86-49. It was a quality performance for center Lucio Longoni (205-2001) who led the winners with a double-double by scoring 15 points and 12 rebounds. Francisco Corradi accounted for 18 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists. Guard Franco Montemagio (185-2002) came up with 14 points and 7 rebounds for Argentino in the defeat. Argentino's coach gave up on the game allowing to play twelve players seeing no chance for a win. Quimsa maintains seventh place with 19-13 record. La Union recorded a loss to Boca Jrs. on the road 80-72. Union was defeated by Obras on its own court 71-78. Penarol smashed H.Americano in Mar del Plata 87-51.
The most impressive stats of the last round was 28 points and 14 rebounds by Ignacio Bednarek of Penarol.

Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Regatas have a solid series of four victories in a row. They maintain sixth place with 23-11 record.
