There are only two more rounds left in the Regular Season in La Liga. Here is the last round review presented by Job Market.

The most exciting game of round 8 in the La Liga took place in Corrientes. This derby game ended with only one-point home defeat of higher ranked Regatas (3-2) to sixteenth ranked Union (2-3) 74-73 on Tuesday evening. Worth to mention a great performance of point guard Martin Cabrera (179-1996) who helped to win the game recording 17 points and 5 rebounds (was perfect 7-for-7 from the free throw line) and American center Chris Vogt (213-1999, college: Wisconsin, agency: Haylett Sports) who added 14 points and 7 rebounds during the contest. The former international forward Claudio Ramirez (200-1990) responded with a double-double by scoring 23 points and 11 rebounds. Both coaches used bench players in such tough game. Union moved-up to thirteenth place, which they share with Olimpico. Regatas at the other side dropped to the seventh position with two games lost. They share it with Obras. Union is looking forward to face Platense (#18) in Florida in the next round where they are favorite. Regatas will have a break next round.

Independ.O. managed to escape with a 3-point win 81-78 on Tuesday evening. The best player for the winners was Francisco Conrradi who had a double-double by scoring 25 points and 10 rebounds. Independ.O.'s coach Martin Gonzalez used an eleven-player rotation in such tough game. Martiniano Dato produced 15 points and 6 rebounds for the guests. Independ.O. have a solid three-game winning streak. They moved-up to sixth place. Gimnasia lost third consecutive game. They dropped to the seventeenth position with three games lost. Independ.O. will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game. Gimnasia will play against Atenas (#5) in Cordoba and hope to win that game.

There were no shocking results in the other games in round 8: Union lost to San Martin on the opponent's court 73-83. Atenas unfortunately lost to San Lorenzo in a home game 85-92. Racing Ch. managed to beat Quimsa on the road 90-79.

Four Union players scored in double figures. Both coaches tested many bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games.
