  Guatemala defeated Panama in Women and Panama won over Belize in Men's.
Last night the team of Guatemala defeated Panama in Women's 81-59 Diana Crespo with 32 Pts. Blanca Amado 28 Pts. by the winners and Anayansi Ortiz 33 Pts. and Josselin Ortiz 23 Pts. were the best by Panama. In the last game Panama with the coaching of Enrique Grenald  won over Belize 104-78 again with good work of Joel Munoz 18 Pts. 6 Assists and 2 Steals, Alejandro Cajar 17 Pts., Maximiliano and Fabio Gomez with 14 Pts. by Belize the best were Stephen Williams 16 Pts. and Keith Acosta 15 Pts. Today in Women Panama plays against Nicaragua trying to advance  to Finals and in Men's Nicaragua vs. Belize and Panama vs. Guatemala in Semifinals the 2 winners must play tommorrow for the Gold Medal of the Central American Games.-

  Guatemala won the Gold Medal over Panama in Women of the VIII Central American Games.
In Women Panama get the Silver Medal when they lost with Guatemala 89-65 the best players of this Final game were by Guatemala Blanca Amado 24 Pts., Paola Ramirez 18 Pts. by Panama were Dayra Hughes 16 Pts. Anayansi Ortiz and Silvia Rios with 10 Pts. The individual Championship were for Andrea Lopez in Assistances and Paola Ramirez MVP both from Guatemala, Anayansi Ortiz in Rebounds and Higher scorer and Josselin Ortiz in 3 Pts. both from Panama
