They finished their campaign with a comfortable win over Costa Rica to improve at 5-0 record atop of the standings. Mexico recorded a 22-16 lead ten minutes into the game. They sank 24 points in the second term to take a 14-point halftime lead. Mexico went on a 28-9 run in the third term to clear off for good. Hillary Martinez (172-SF-1997) knocked down 29 points and grabbed 11 rebounds to pace the winners. El Salvador grabbed a 19-14 lead after ten minutes. They extended the lead in the second frame. El Salvador posted a 39-28 halftime advantage. Panama narrowed the deficit at 10-point mark heading into the fourth term. El Salvador sank 22 points in the final stanza and raced to the victory. The home side went on a 21-14 run in the third period to secure a 13-point advantage at the final break. Mexico held Guatemala to just 13 points in the fourth period and raced to the victory. Kimberly Villalobos (188-C-2000) stepped up with 21 points to pace the winners. Costa Rica eked out a 14-13 lead after ten minutes. But El Salvador responded with a strong 23-12 run in the second frame to gain a 36-26 halftime lead. Costa Rica managed to narrow the gap at 7-point mark at the final break.
