Puerto Rico fired past Dominican Republic to reach the title game in Manati. The hosts got to a rather slow start. Dominican Republic grabbed a 30:26 halftime lead. But Puerto Rico tuned in offensively in the second half. They unloaded 46 points after the big break and marched to a comfortable win at the end. Jennifer O'Neill (165-PG-90, college: Kentucky, agency: Legends Sports) had 16 points for Puerto Rico. Yolanda Jones (184-F-84, college: La-Lafayette) added 14 points and 12 rebounds for the winners. Charlenny Frias (170-SF-84) responded with 15 points for Dominican Republic.

Cuba - Mexico 86-80
Cuba will play in the championship game in Manati after they held off Mexico. Cuba entered the game firing on all cylinders. They built a 39:26 halftime advantage. Mexico tried to change the complexion of the game in the fourth frame as they sank 28 points in the final stanza but still came up short of victory. Suchitel Avila (184-F/C-82) and Yamara Amargo (179-PF-85, agency: Pro Sports) came up with 20 points each to pace Cuba. Jacqueline Luna-Castro (188-F-93, college: Charleston) delivered 22 points and 8 rebounds for Mexico.
