Truenos - Concepcion 63-129 An exciting game between Top Four teams was played in Talca. Leader Concepcion faced second-best Truenos. Guests from Concepcion (6-0) smashed host Truenos (3-2) 129-63. It ended at the same time the three-game winning streak of Truenos. Concepcion dominated down low during the game scoring 80 of its points in the paint compared to Truenos' 32. They outrebounded Truenos 45-23 including a 33-15 advantage in defensive rebounds. Concepcion looked well-organized offensively handing out 29 assists comparing to just 15 passes made by Truenos' players. The best player for the winners was American forward Jerry Evans (203-1990, college: Nevada) who had a double-double by scoring 16 points and 11 rebounds. International point guard Sebastian Carrasco (180-2000) chipped in 14 points and 8 assists. Four Concepcion players scored in double figures. Ancud forced 21 Osorno turnovers and outrebounded them 53-37 including a 45-30 advantage in defensive rebounds.
