Canada outgunned Argentina to finish group stage undefeated. Canada piled up a 50-36 halftime lead. They went on a 29-9 run in the third term to clear off for good. T'Yana Todd (182-G-2004) posted 17 points, while Marah Dykstra (188-F-2004) added 13 points and 13 rebounds for the winners. Angelina Giacone (181-F-2005) answered with 14 points for Argentina.

Brazil - Mexico 64-56
Brazil toppled Mexico to finish second in Group A. Mexico led by three points after ten minutes. But Brazil went on a strong 34-27 second half rally to secure the victory. Ana Passos (176-PF-2005) scored 18 points and collected 9 rebounds in the win. Itzel Navarro (2004) answered with 17 points for Mexico.

USA - El Salvador 106-31
USA cruised past El Salvador to enter the quarterfinal stage unbeaten. USA went on a 60-12 first half run and never looked back en route to the victory. Isuneh Brady (190-F-2004) tallied 20 points, while Cotie McMahon (180-F-2004) added 17 points, 9 rebounds and 8 assists for the winners. Gabriela Alfaro (167-F-2004) answered with 10 points for El Salvador.

Puerto Rico - Colombia 50-58
Colombia topped Puerto Rico to improve at 2-1 record in Group B. Leidy Montano (173-G-2004) posted 13 points and 12 rebounds for the winners. Colombia grabbed a 15-12 lead after ten minutes. Puerto Rico narrowed the deficit at one-point mark at the big break. Puerto Rico spurred ahead in the third term to eke out a 41-40 advantage at the final break. Colombia answered with an 18-9 run in the fourth frame to steal the win. Karen Castano (174-G/F-2004) notched 11 points and 10 rebounds in the victory. Dianne Crespo (178-C-2006) answered with 12 points for Puerto Rico.
