FIBA U18 Women's AmeriCup 2026 to be held in Irapuato, Mexico

FIBA’s Regional Office in the Americas has announced that the FIBA U18 Women’s AmeriCup will be held in Irapuato, Mexico, from June 9–15. The event will be staged at the Inforum Irapuato and will feature the national teams of Argentina, Canada, the Dominican Republic, Paraguay, Puerto Rico, the United States, Venezuela, and host nation Mexico. At stake are four berths to the FIBA U19 Women’s Basketball World Cup 2027, adding further weight to a competition that consistently showcases the region’s elite prospects. The United States arrives as the reigning champion and overwhelming benchmark in the category, carrying an 11-title winning streak.
