Hermosillo - Mazatlan 92-91 Third-ranked Venados (16-14) gave a tough game to first ranked Rayos de Hermosillo (25-5). Rayos de Hermosillo managed to secure only one-point victory 92-91. However their fans expected easier game. Rayos de Hermosillo players were unselfish on offense dishing 28 assists. Americans were the main players on the court also this time. It was an exceptional evening for guard Jimond Ivey (196-1996, college: Akron) who led the winners and scored 30 points, 7 rebounds and 7 assists. Forward Aaron Wheeler (206-1998, college: St.John's) accounted for 25 points, 6 rebounds and 5 assists for the winning side.
