Guanare, Portuguesa.- The NT of Venezuela, kept its undefeated path into the Finals of the XX South American Championship at Ciudad de Guanare Gymnasium in Guanare, Portuguesa state, by leaving behind Uruguay. Argentina surprised Brazil in a tight match and will get a chance to defend their chrown against the hosts. Meanwhile, Peru defeated Chile to earn fifth place in the tournament and Colombia did the same over Ecuador to get the seventh spot.
