Argentina win U15 South American Championship

Argentina triumphed at the U15 South American Championship. The tournament was held in Asuncion, Paraguay. Argentina held off their archrivals Brazil in the championship game. Jose Vidoza stepped up with 26 points to lead Argentina to a 77:70 victory. Lucas Vezaro answered with 18 points for Brazil. Argentina trailed by two points at halftime but managed to turn things around after the big break. They exploded with 48 points in the second half and raced to the victory at the end.
Uruguay clinched the third position. They overcame Venezuela in overtime for the spot at the podium. Camilo Invernizzi stepped up with 18 points for Uruguay.
Colombia earned the fifth spot as they edged Paraguay 85:83. Chile finished in the seventh place after they thumped Bolivia 92:16.
