Preliminary Round is over in Cucuta, Brazil unbeaten

Preliminary Round is over in Cucuta and everything is set for the final day. Brazil won the first stage with perfect 7-0 record and will meet second ranked Argentina, who ended with 5-2 score. The winner will take the Gold at this event. On the other side, Colombia and Uruguay will fight for the Bronze. Chile and Venezuela will play for the fifth place, while Ecuador and Paraguay will meet each other to try to avoid the last place at this event.
Crucial game for the first place in Preliminary Round was Brazil - Colombia. It was a Day Five and Brazil celebrated 63-53 win. Later Colombia also failed against Argentina and because of that missed to reach the Finals. Argentina celebrated 60-53 win in this game and finished as No.2. That game closed Preliminary Round in Cucuta. Sunday will be the last day of the competition. All games results and Standings are below.
