Colombia demolish Bolivia in Salto at the U17 South American Championship. Colombia needed a 107:57 win to improve to 2-1 record in Group A. Bolivia meanwhile remained undefeated and dropped at 0-3 record. Colombia erupted with a 36-12 surge and added 23-11 rally before the halftime. Colombia enjoyed a 59:23 halftime advantage and continued their dominance in the rest of the game. They added 29-10 burst in the third quarter and did not mind 19-24 in the last stanza. Yildon Mendoza (97) paced all the winners with 16 points and Mauricio Montano (96) netted 15. Fajardo Juan poured in 14, whilst Atencia Hansel had 12. Pablo Castellanos (97) ended up with 20 points in the losing effort and Mercado Luis scored 7. Veizaga Axel had 6 points in the losing effort.
Brazil - Venezuela 64-53
Brazil takes 3-0 record in Group A at the U17 South American Championship. Brazil outscored Venezuela 64:53 in Day 4 of the tournament. Venezuela meanwhile dropped at 2-2 record. Brazil won the first period 17-9 and added massive 13-5 surge in the second frame. Venezuela looked better in the second half and replied with two narrow victories in the third and the last quarters. Venezuela won the third frame 21-20 and finished the game with 18-14, but it was not enough to catch up with the opponents. Junior Duval (185-G-96) top-scored for the winners with 10 points and Tulio Da Silva collected 9 points and 10 rebounds. George de Paula and Buboltz Fernando delivered 8 points each in a win. Christian Centeno (96) answered with 11 points in defeat and Angel Blanco (97) brought 7. Alejandro Bernal (96) notched 6, whilst Jose Medina (97) and Espinoza Malave Adrian shot 5 each.

Peru - Paraguay 75-59
Peru posts the initial victory at the U17 South American Championship. They overcame Paraguay 75:59 in Day 4 of the tournament. The latter meanwhile dropped at 0-2 record in Group B. Both teams entered the game without victories and looked forward achieving the first W. Peru grabbed massive 22:4 lead after the first period and never looked behind after. Peru led 37:20 at the halftime and produced a 23-19 rally in the third quarter. Paraguay managed to win the last stanza 20-15 but could not come closer. Yanez Renzo top-scored for the winners with 17 points and Luque Sebastian was unstoppable with 16 points and 25 rebounds. Hernen Goicochea (98) delivered 14 points in a win. Martinez Jorge replied with 15 points in the losing effort and Ricardo Marecos (96) netted 14. Brugada Joaquin shot 11, whilst Renato Yaluk (96) put up 10.
