Draw results in for South American U17 Championship 2017

The draw for the South American U17 Championship took place in San Juan, Puerto Rico on Tuesday.

The results of the draw are as follows:
Group A: Colombia, Venezuela, Chile, Peru
Group B: Uruguay, Paraguay, Argentina, Ecuador, Bolivia.
The South American U17 Championship will be played in Lima, Peru from July 15-20 and will feature the participation of the National Teams from Argentina, Bolivia, Chile, Colombia, Ecuador, Paraguay, Peru, Uruguay and Venezuela. The competition system of the tournament consists of two phases. In the Group Phase, the nine (9) participating teams will be divided into two (2) groups. Teams will play in round-robin format for three days. The best team from each group will advance to the Championship Game. The top-three teams from the tournament will qualify to the FIBA U18 Americas Championship 2018, that will be played in St. Catharines, Canada from June 11-17, 2018.
