Brazil - Chile 70-56
Brazil toppled Chile to earn the second straight victory in Group B. Brazil led by just 2 points at the big break 28:26. They stretched the margin at 5-point mark heading into the fourth quarter. Brazil went on a 21:12 run in the final period to rally to the win. Marcio Santos (203-F/C-02) provided 19 points and 9 rebounds, while Adyel Pereira (185-PG-02) added 15 points for Brazil. Felipe Inyaco (192-PG-02) answered with 18 points for Chile.

Venezuela - Argentina 87-90
Argentina nipped Venezuela to improve at 3-0 record atop of Group A. Venezuela unleashed 47 points in the first half to eke out a one-point lead. But Argentina responded with a 25:15 run in the third frame to surge ahead. Venezuela dropped 25 points in the fourth period but could not avoid the loss. Franco Mendez (188-SG-02) accounted for 26 points, while Mateo Perez (02) added 15 points in the win. Andres Marrero (186-F-02) knocked down 38 points for Venezuela.

Colombia - Uruguay 49-87
Uruguay stormed past Colombia to earn the second victory in Group A. Uruguay piled up a 46:19 halftime lead. Uruguay followed with a 41:30 second half run to ice the victory. Agustin Ubal (197-G-03) produced 26 points and 12 rebounds, while Joaquin Rodriguez (199-F-03) added 17 points for Uruguay. Yustin Llerena (02) answered with 14 points for Colombia.
