Groups revealed for the FIBA U17 South American Championship 2025

The groups for the FIBA U17 South American Championship 2025 have been set. The tournament will take place from December 10 to 14 at the COP Olympic Training Center in Asunción, Paraguay. The official draw was held this Tuesday in Miami, Florida, and produced the following results:

GROUP A

1. Uruguay

2. Ecuador

3. Colombia

4. Argentina

GROUP B

1. Paraguay

2. Brazil

3. Chile

4. Venezuela

Before the draw, the teams were placed in four pots in pairs, based on their current positions in the FIBA Youth Rankings, presented by Nike. They were then randomly drawn along with their position number to determine the order of the games. The FIBA U17 South American Championship 2025 awards three berths to the FIBA U18 AmeriCup 2026.
