2022 COCABA: El Salvador outgun Costa Rica

El Salvador recorded the second straight win in Chihuahua. They beat Costa Rica to stay undefeated. Kimberly Villalobos (188-C-2000) stepped up with 21 points to pace the winners.
Costa Rica eked out a 14-13 lead after ten minutes. But El Salvador responded with a strong 23-12 run in the second frame to gain a 36-26 halftime lead. Costa Rica managed to narrow the gap at 7-point mark at the final break. But El Salvador maintained the advantage throughout the fourth quarter and rallied to the victory. Hillary Martinez (172-SF-1997) had 15 points and 8 rebounds for the winners. Daniela Quesada (168-G-1997) answered with 16 points for Costa Rica.
