Mexico are the COCABA champions. They overcame El Salvador to capture the sixth Gold in the last seven editions of the tournament. Mexico eked out a 35-33 halftime advantage. They followed with a strong 40-23 rally in the second half to ice the victory. Alexia Lagunas (172-SG-1998, agency: Daggers Sports) tallied 18 points, while Mariana Valenzuela (188-F-2003) added 16 points and 20 rebounds for the champions. Hillary Martinez (172-SF-1997) responded with 22 points, 10 rebounds and 7 assists for El Salvador.
3-4 Place
Panama - Nicaragua 49-59
Nicaragua stepped onto the pedestal as they beat Panama for the third-place finish in Managua. Panama recorded a 29-27 halftime lead. But the hosts went on a 32-20 second-half rally to snatch the win at the end. Kiyomi McMiller (173-G-2006) stepped up with 36 points to pace Nicaragua. Veronica Vega (169-SF-1991) answered with 15 points for Panama.

5-6 Place
Honduras - Guatemala 55-56
Guatemala nipped Honduras to claim the fifth position at the tournament. Honduras recorded a 33-20 halftime advantage. But Guatemala responded with a 36-22 run in the second half to snatch a narrow win at the end. Valeria Oliva (169-F-2006) posted 14 points for Guatemala. Nelly Rapalo (173-G-1999) hauled in 20 points and 10 rebounds for Honduras.
