Gladys Avila led Mexico past El Salvador at the 2022 COCABA. She nailed 14 points as Mexico celebrated a 60-51 win as Mexico improved at 4-0 record atop of the ladder.
Trailing 13-19 at the end of the first period, Mexico replied with a 13-9 run in the second frame. The third quarter was decisive in the game as Mexico needed a 21-12 surge to seal the win.
