2022 COCABA: El Salvador top Panama, finish second in Chihuahua City

El Salvador earned the second place at the 2022 COCABA Championship in Chihuahua City. They wrapped up their campaign with a comfortable win over Panama. Hillary Martinez (172-SF-1997) knocked down 29 points and grabbed 11 rebounds to pace the winners.
El Salvador grabbed a 19-14 lead after ten minutes. They extended the lead in the second frame. El Salvador posted a 39-28 halftime advantage. Panama narrowed the deficit at 10-point mark heading into the fourth term. El Salvador sank 22 points in the final stanza and raced to the victory. Kimberly Villalobos (188-C-2000) delivered 22 points and collected 16 rebounds in the win. Milan Tuttle (174-G-2003) accounted for 21 points for Panama.
