An interesting game for Sportiva Italiana (11-0) which hosted in Valparaiso 4th placed Stadio Italiano (5-6). Leader Sportiva Italiana had an easy win 108-62. Sportiva Italiana dominated down low during the game scoring 54 of its points in the paint compared to Stadio Italiano's 32 and made 27-of-34 free shots (79.4 percent) during the game. Sportiva Italiana forced 23 Stadio Italiano turnovers and outrebounded them 45-32 including 32 on the defensive glass. 28 personal fouls committed by Stadio Italiano helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. Worth to mention a great performance of the former international Sebastian Suarez (193-1991, college: Portland St.) who helped to win the game recording 24 points, 9 rebounds and 5 assists (made all of his nine free throws !!!). Gaspar Hernandez (-1999) contributed with 31 points and 5 rebounds for the winners. The former international Ramiro Galvez (-1996) answered with 15 points for Stadio Italiano. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. An interesting game for Truenos (6-5) which hosted in Talca 4th placed Municipal C. (5-6). Third ranked Truenos managed to get a 13-point victory 79-66. Forward Nick Morales (187-1985) stepped up with a double-double by scoring 20 points, 12 rebounds and 5 assists for the winners and Alessandro Morales chipped in 21 points and 6 assists. At the losing side center Marko Castro (192-1988) responded with 21 points. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. The victory was the third consecutive win for Truenos. They maintain third place with 6-5 record having five points less than leader Liceo PN, which they share with Arabe de Valp. Municipal C. at the other side keeps the fourth position with six games lost. They share it with Stadio Italiano and Luis Matte. Truenos will play against Tomas L. (#6) in San Fernando in the next round. Municipal C. will play at home against the league's second-placed Colo Colo and it may be a tough game between close rivals.

The most impressive performance of 13th round was 22 points and 5 rebounds by Martin Gomez of Colo Colo.

No shocking result in a game when second ranked Colo Colo (9-2) crushed 5th ranked Liceo Curico (2-8) in Santiago 93-73 on Saturday. Colo Colo outrebounded Liceo Curico 52-32 including a 38-24 advantage in defensive rebounds. Forward Lucas Thiebaut (-1999) nailed a double-double by scoring 14 points and 12 rebounds for the winning side and the former international guard Eduardo Sepulveda (186-1986) accounted for 20 points. Four Colo Colo players scored in double figures. The former international Mohunir Zerene (187-1994) came up with 27 points and Venezuelan Keinder Albarran added 26 points respectively for Liceo Curico in the defeat.
