USA - Canada 108-71
USA have been crowned U16 FIBA Americas champions. They fired past Canada to keep their record at the tournament unblemished (44-0). Clarence Rosser (206-F-2009) stepped up with 16 points and 10 rebounds to pace the champions. USA recorded a comfortable 60-35 halftime lead. They poured in 48 points in the second half and breezed to the victory. Marcus Spears (201-F-2009) finished with 14 points for the USA. Kenyon St.Louis replied with 14 points for Canada. Praise Badejo (185-PG-2010) topscored with 18 points for Canada.
3-4 Place
Puerto Rico - Venezuela 76-84
Venezuela outscored Puerto Rico to step onto the pedestal in Juarez. Julio Vasquez (190-SG-2009) scored 20 points as Venezuela earned the third position. Venezuela posted a 41-33 halftime lead. They extended the margin at 16-point mark at the final break. Puerto Rico sank 28 points in the fourth frame but could not avoid the loss. Deiker Torres (183-PG-2010) had 14 points in the win. Dwight Gaines (156-PG-2009) answered with 19 points for Puerto Rico.

5-6 Place
Brazil - Dominican Republic 91-86
Brazil topped Dominican Republic to finish 5th at the championship. Dominican Republic entered the fourth period up by one point. But Brazil sank 27 points in the fourth term and snatched a narrow win at the end. Matheus Mellim (170-PG-2009) delivered 23 points, while Victor Santos (190-G-2009) added 13 points for Brazil. Malvin Duran (176-SG-2009) replied with 21 points for Dominican Republic.

7-8 Place
Argentina - Mexico 65-85
Mexico cruised past Argentina en route to the 7th place finish in Juarez. The hosts used a 47-26 rally in the second and third periods combined to take a decisive 21-point lead. Argentina could not recover afterwards. Diego Licon (180-PG-2010) provided 29 points for the winners. Lautaro Basualdo (204-C-2010) replied with 17 points for Argentina.

Nasir Anderson, 15-year old American guard earned the Most Valuable Player at the FIBA Under 16 AmeriCup. He plays for the Norcross Blue Devils. Anderson received multiple other awards, picked up the Best Guard and earned a spot in the First Team. He averaged over 12 points per game during the event. Anderson led the FIBA Americas Under 16 in assists per game with almost 7. His 19 points against Brazil were the most he scored at the tournament.
Isaiah Hamilton, 15-year old Canadian small forward was named the Best Forward of FIBA Under 16 AmeriCup. He plays for the Crestwood Preparatory College in the OSBA. Hamilton was also voted to the First Team. He showcased his talent by ranking second in points per game with an average of over 21. Hamilton also recorded over 6 rebounds per game at the event. He has totalled 4 games of 20 or more points during the event. Hamilton's 32 points against Brazil were the most he scored at the tournament.
Marcus Spears, 16-year old American forward was voted the Best Center at the FIBA Under 16 AmeriCup. He plays for the Dynamic Prep. Spears was also selected to the First Team.
