Bahia Blanca to host 2015 FIBA Americas U16 Championship

Argentinean Bahia Blanca has been announced as the host city of the 2015 FIBA Americas U16 Championship. The tournament is set to take place from June 10 through 14. Eight teams, namely Argentina, Canada, USA, Brazil, Mexico, Puerto Rico, Dominican Republic and Venezuela, will take part at the event. The teams will be divided into two groups with four teams in each for the preliminary round action. The championship serves as the qualifying event for the 2016 FIBA U17 World Championship.
