Argentina pretty much controlled entire game from the very beginning. With 8:16 in first quarter they showed dominance and quality against Uruguay. Their biggest lead was +14 in entire game while Uruguay never took the lead in this match. In closest game of Quarter-Finals in FIBA Americas U16, Dominican Republic managed to beat Brazil and advance to Semifinals. It was roller-coaster of leading change, as it was done 13 times in entire game. Biggest lead for Brazil was +5 while Dominicans had +11 at some point. Brazil showed dominance on the rim as they grabbed 54 rebounds, while Dominican Republic had 38.Last quarter was decider as Dominican Republic won it with +5 points difference (19:14).

Canada - Mexico 95-78
From the very beginning of the game Canada put the the things in their place as they won first quarter with 26:15. Mexico responded with +6 win in quarter number two, but right away after half time break Canada responded with another double digit win in a quarter 25:14 and that was beginning of the end for Mexico. Last quarter was just formality and it was finished 26:25 for Canada for total 95:78 for team of Kirby Schepp. Caleb Houstan (205-F/G-03), Ryan Nembhard (183-PG-03) and Enoch Boakye (206-C-03) combined 60 out of 95 for Canada. Boakye also grabbed 17 points for his double-double performance. Yahir Bonilla (204-SF-03) didn't have anyone to follow him in Mexico as he scored 27 points with 20 rebounds and 5 assists. Amazing performance but he didn't manage to beat Canada alone.
USA - Puerto Rico 102-51
With a perfect game played for USA, they are now advancing to the Semifinals. It was a huge win for USA side as they managed to beat Puerto Rico in every aspect. Americans had 60 rebounds this game, compared to only 39 for Puerto Rico team. With 26 assists USA players were scoring easy buckets and game was decided in second quarter where USA won that part of the game with 29:8. Jabari Smith was MVP of this game with total of 19 index ranking, as he combined 15 points, 6 rebounds and 2 assists. Chris Livingston (196-F) scored 13 points, 7 rebounds and 3 assist for total ranking of 17. In losing team Eric Navarro (188-F-03) had 12 points and 4 rebounds.
