USA cruised past Puerto Rico in the semifinal clash. The North American side dominated from start to finish. USA posted a 62-42 halftime lead. They went on a 38-7 run in the third term to clear off for good. Koa Peat (201-C-2007, college: USA NT U16) posted 29 points and 14 rebounds, while Darryn Peterson (196-G-2007) added 22 points for the winners. Myles Fuentes (185-G-2008) answered with 14 points for Puerto Rico.
Argentina - Canada 58-65
Canada toppled Argentina to advance into the title game in Merida. Kamai Samuels (184-PG-2007) tallied 15 points, 11 rebounds and 6 assists for the North American team. Argentina enjoyed a 30-26 halftime lead. But Canada responded with a 39-28 rally in the second half to secure the win. Paul Osaruyi (203-F-2008) notched 15 points and 10 rebounds for the winners. Felipe Minzer (195-G-2007) answered with 27 points and 7 rebounds for Argentina.
