Jayden Nunez (204-C-2011) answered with 12 points for Dominican Republic. Argentina - Mexico 77-52 Argentina coasted past Mexico for the first win at the tournament. Argentina established a 46-23 halftime lead and never looked back en route to the win. Facundo Mathieu (184-PG-2009) delivered 21 points, while Benito Lavrut (190-PG-2009) and Enzo Roth (192-SG-2009) chipped in 12 points each for Argentina. Luca Balducci (182-G-2009) answered with 14 points for Mexico. Group BPuerto Rico - Venezuela 68-67Puerto Rico nipped Venezuela to remain undefeated in Group B. Dwight Gaines (156-PG-2009) came up with 23 points to lead the charge. Venezuela led by two points with five seconds remaining but Eduyn Albino (185-F-2009) sank a decisive three-pointer to seal the victory for Puerto Rico. He finished with 10 points in the win. Santiago Gines (191-F-2009) produced 15 points for Venezuela. Canada - Brazil 111-73 Canada coasted past Brazil to improve at 2-0 record in Group B. Isaiah Hamilton (198-SF-2009) delivered 32 points in the win. Canada went on a 38-18 run in the second frame to take a decisive advantage.
