USA and Canada enter Final in Juarez

USA stormed past Puerto Rico to secure the championship game berth. USA established a 52-33 halftime lead. They unloaded 54 points in the second half to cruise to the win. Colton Hiller (196-SG-2010) produced 23 points, while Marcus Spears (201-F-2009) added 15 points for the USA. Dwight Gaines (156-PG-2009) answered with 21 points for Puerto Rico.

Venezuela - Canada 65-78
Canada outlasted Venezuela in the second semifinal in Juarez. Canada therefore set up the exciting clash with their North American rivals USA for the title. Canada went on a 22-16 run in the second period to secure a 6-point halftime lead. They dropped 25 points in the third term to gain a comfortable 10-point lead at the final break. Canada limited Venezuela to just 9 points in the fourth quarter and raced to the win. Kenyon St Louis finished with 18 points, while Liam Mitakaro (188-PG-2009) accounted for 13 points for Canada. Julio Vasquez (190-SG-2009) answered with 16 points for Venezuela.
