Here is the last round review presented by Job Market.

The most exciting game of round 3 in the LNBP took place in Irapuato. This derby game ended with only three-point home defeat of Freseras (0-6) to Panteras (3-3) 93-90 on Thursday evening. Panteras made 16-of-20 free shots (80.0 percent) during the game. Strangely Freseras outrebounded Panteras 38-24 including 23 on the defensive glass. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 24 assists. It was a great evening for American forward Brock Gardner (201-1997, college: Master's, agency: Players Group) who led his team to a victory scoring 23 points and 9 rebounds (perfect behind the arc making all five shots). His fellow American import guard Spencer Williams (188-1995, college: Wooster) helped adding 11 points and 5 assists. The best for the losing side was American Nick Faust (198-1993, college: LBSU) with 25 points. Both coaches used bench players in such tough game. Panteras will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game. Freseras will play on the road against Astros (#2) in Guadalajara and hope to get finally their first victory.
Important game to mention about took place in Xalapa. Halcones UV Xalapa (3-2) saved a 3-point victory at home edging Plateros (1-4) 100-97 on Friday evening. It was an exceptional evening for American guard Shaquille Johnson (191-1990, college: Marshall) who led the winners and scored 25 points. Emmanuel Andujar accounted for 19 points and 6 rebounds. Halcones UV Xalapa's coach allowed to play the deep bench players in such tough game. American forward Jamil Wilson (201-1990, college: Marquette) came up with a double-double by scoring 14 points and 12 rebounds for Plateros in the defeat. Halcones UV Xalapa will play against Correcaminos (#7) in Ciudad Victoria in the next round. Plateros will play at home against Mineros and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
The game between Top Four teams took place in Chihuahua. host Dorados (3-3) lost to Astros (4-1) 94-87. The best player for the winners was Jordan Loveridge who scored 26 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists. At the other side the best for losing team was Mark Lyons who recorded 23 points and 4 assists. Both coaches tested many bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Astros will meet at home Freseras (#7) in the next round which should be theoretically an easy game. Dorados will play against Halcones Rojos (#6) in Veracruz and hope to secure a win.

There were no shocking results in the rest of the games of round 3: Correcaminos lost to Abejas on the opponent's court 104-108. Mineros managed to outperform Soles in a home game 75-70. Correcaminos were rolled over Abejas on the road 93-71. Dorados lost to defending champion Astros on its own court 88-95. Panteras beat Freseras in Aguascalientes 99-93. Fuerza Regia won against Halc.Rojos at home 79-65. Soles unfortunately lost to Mineros on the opponent's court 73-82. Fuerza Regia rolled over Halc.Rojos in a home game 90-63.
The most impressive stats of the last round was 15 points and 8 rebounds by Shonn Miller of Fuerza Regia.




Abejas - Correcaminos 108-104

Very expected game in Guanajuato where Correcaminos (1-5) were defeated by Abejas (4-2) 108-104 on Thursday. However just four-point win is not that big difference and the fans of host team counted on more convincing victory. Abejas dominated down low during the game scoring 58 of its points in the paint compared to Correcaminos' 34. They outrebounded Correcaminos 46-32 including 33 on the defensive glass. Abejas looked well-organized offensively handing out 24 assists. The best player for the winners was Argentinian forward Alexis Elsener (195-1988, agency: Interperformances) who had a double-double by scoring 16 points, 11 rebounds, 6 assists and 4 steals. American Markeith Cummings (198-1988, college: KSU) chipped in 19 points and 5 rebounds. Elsener is a former Eurobasket Summer League player, which is considered top international summer league in the market. At the other side the best for losing team was Brazilian center Joao Franca (215-1998) who recorded a double-double by scoring 19 points and 11 rebounds and Puerto Rican guard Ismael Cruz (190-2001, college: Indian Hills) added 18 points respectively. Five Abejas and four Correcaminos players scored in double figures. Both coaches tested many bench players in such tough game. Abejas will meet Libertadores in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Correcaminos will play against Halcones UV Xalapa (#4) and hope to win that game.
