The game between closely ranked teams ended with 5th ranked Halcones Rojos' (8-12) road loss to fourth ranked Plateros (11-9) 96-103 on Friday. American point guard Tu Holloway (183-1989, college: Xavier) fired a double-double by scoring 22 points and 11 assists (made all of his ten free throws !!!) for the winners. Puerto Rican swingman David Huertas (196-1987, college: Ole Miss) chipped in 22 points and 5 assists. Plateros' coach used entire bench which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. American point guard Quade Green (183-1998, college: Washington, agency: Octagon Europe) produced 18 points, 6 rebounds and 8 assists and Bahamas forward Tavario Miller (203-1994, college: Texas A&M) added 18 points and 10 rebounds respectively for lost side. Both teams had five players each who scored in double figures. Plateros have an impressive five-game winning streak. They moved-up to third place, which they share with Panteras. Loser Halcones Rojos dropped to the sixth position with 12 games lost. Plateros will meet Soles (#6) in the next round. Halcones Rojos will play against Correcaminos and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
