Piratas - Gigantes 109-92 There was no surprise in La Guaira where 7th ranked Gigantes (6-12) were defeated by third ranked Piratas (11-5) 109-92 on Thursday. Piratas forced 19 Gigantes turnovers. It was a great evening for Dominican Rigoberto Mendoza (190-1992) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 24 points, 10 rebounds, 7 assists and 4 steals. Dominican guard Juan Suero (196-1993) helped adding 24 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists.
