Here is the last round review presented by Job Market.

The biggest surprise took place in Santiado del Estero where host Quimsa (9-5) beat league's leader Instituto (12-4) 92-82 on Sunday evening. Quimsa made 24-of-31 free shots (77.4 percent) during the game. 27 personal fouls committed by Instituto helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. The best player for the winners was American power forward Eric Anderson (204-1993, college: New Haven) who scored 20 points and 8 rebounds (on 9-of-11 shooting from the field). Forward Rodrigo Sanchez (200-1989) chipped in 17 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists. At the other side the best for losing team was the former international guard Nicolas Romano (200) who recorded 15 points and 7 rebounds. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Quimsa maintains fifth position with 9-5 record. Defending champion Instituto dropped to the second place with four games lost. They were replaced at the leadership position by Obras. Both teams do not play next round, which will be an opportunity for some rest.
The game had a very big importance for third-ranked Obras as it allowed them to take a leadership position. Obras defeated 18th ranked Union SF in Buenos Aires 80-69. It was a good game for Luca Valussi (195-1998) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 15 points and 12 rebounds. Emiliano Serres contributed with 21 points and 5 rebounds for the winners. Haitian forward Jeantal Cylla (201-1996, college: Arkansas) replied with 18 points for Union SF. Both coaches tested many bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. Obras (12-3) have an impressive ten-game winning streak. As mentioned above they took over a top position. Union SF at the other side keeps the eighteenth place with nine games lost. Union SF will play next round against Ferro trying to get back on the winning streak. Obras will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game.
Sixteenth-ranked Independ.O. (3-6) made lots of trouble for fourth ranked Olimpico (9-2) in Olivia on Monday. The visitors from La Banda managed to secure only one-point victory 80-79. However their fans expected much easier game. Worth to mention a great performance of Elyjah Clark who helped to win the game recording 19 points, 7 rebounds and 8 assists. The best for the losing side was Salvador Giletto with 19 points and 7 rebounds (on 7-of-9 shooting from the field). Both coaches allowed to play bench players in such tough game. Olimpico maintains fourth position with 9-2 record. Newly promoted Independ.O. keeps the sixteenth place with six games lost. They share the position with Riachuelo LR. Olimpico will meet at home bottom-ranked Atenas (#20) in the next round which should be an easy win for them. Independ.O. will have a break next round.
