Puerto Rico won the Gold in Gurabo. The host of U17 CentroBasket cruised
past Mexico 90-75 in the Finals to win the first place. Of course Silver
belongs to Mexico. Both teams booked a spot for the 2012 FIBA Americas
Championship U18.
Abdiel Badillo (193-F-94) was a key player in victory with 27 points
and 13 rebounds. He reached valuation 29 and was the MVP of this
meeting.

without the medal. They also failed to reach FIBA Americas.

Gurabo. It was a game for the seventh place at U17 Centrobasket and
British Virgin Islands grabbed 81-79 thriller win against Panama. It was
a game with two overtimes. Panama finished as the last ranked team in
Gurabo.
Shakiel Humphrey (95) led the winners with 27 points and 8 rebounds.
Ryan Alfred (95) had 23 points and 12 rebs, while
Reavaun Garraway (95) added 12 points, 10 boards, and 9 assists. In

Puerto Rico eliminated Bahamas 85-78 in the Semifinals of the U17
CentroBasket in Gurabo. The host of this event will meet Mexico in Big
Final. On the other side, Bahamas will fight for the Bronze against US
Virgin Islands.

Islands 95-62 jumping to 2-0 in Preliminary Group A of U17 CentroBasket.
On the other side, US Virgin Islands dropped to 1-1 in this pool and
still has a nice chance to reach the next stage.
Selwyn Rodriguez (95) was better than the others in victory with 13
