Puerto Rico eliminated Bahamas 85-78 in the Semifinals of the U17 CentroBasket in Gurabo. The host of this event will meet Mexico in Big Final. On the other side, Bahamas will fight for the Bronze against US Virgin Islands. Juan Carlos Ortiz (94) led the winners in scoring with 23 points. Belize successfully passed their first obstacle for the fifth place in Gurabo. They outplayed British Virgin Islands 81-74 and will have to beat Dominican Republic in order to end as No.5. British Virgin Island will play against Panama and the winner will avoid last place at the U17 CentroBasket. Devin Daly (188-F-95) erupted with 29 points and 12 rebounds for the winners.
