Group A
Mexico - Costa Rica 79-37
Mexico cruised past Costa Rica to finish preliminary round undefeated. Six players came up with double figures in the victory. Ivan Montano (174-G) recorded 15 points and 7 steals for the winners. Mexico built a 50:18 halftime lead. They maintained the lead throughout the second half and coasted to the victory. Orlando Torrero (191-PF) and Johnatan Reyes (177-G) finished with 12 points each for the winners. Stephan Campbell responded with 14 points and 10 rebounds for Costa Rica.

Dominican Republic - Guatemala 87-52
Dominican Republic recorded the second victory in Group A. They outgunned Guatemala to advance into the semifinal stage. Six players scored in double digits for the winners. Justin Minaya (195-G) recorded 15 points to lead the charge. Jose Perez had 13 points for Dominican Republic. They used a 29:8 run in the second period to clear off for good. David Sequeira (181-C) responded with 19 points for Guatemala.

Group B
Puerto Rico - Bahamas 93-74
Puerto Rico recorded the third straight victory in San Juan. The hosts rallied past Bahamas to finish on top of Group A. Leandro Allende (190-F/G-97) finished with 21 points for the winners. Puerto Rico accounted for a 47:37 halftime lead. Bahamas pulled within 7 points at the final break. But Puerto Rico sank 24 points in the fourth period and raced to the win. Luis Lopez (182-G) delivered 15 points in the victory. Deondre Vilmar (193-PG-97) responded with 20 points for Bahamas.

Barbados - U.S. Virgin Islands 44-119
US Virgin Islands coasted past Barbados to clinch the second position in Group B. They improved at 2-1 record following the win. Rahkeem Swanston accounted for 24 points to lead the winning side. US Virgin Islands registered a 57:26 halftime advantage. They went for impressive 62 points in the second half to cruise to the victory. Earl Baker delivered 17 points in the win. Shaquan Carrington (180-G) responded with 8 points for Barbados.
