Puerto Rico top Mexico to clinch U15 Centrobasket title

Puerto Rico are 2024 U15 Centrobasket champions. They overcame Mexico in the Final in Ciudad Juarez on Sunday. Jeremy Willmore scored 23 points and grabbed 7 rebounds to lead the winners.
Mexico dominated throughout the first half. The hosts established a 23-14 lead after ten minutes. Mexico established a 44-34 halftime lead. But Puerto Rico turned the tables in the second half. They ignited a 26-14 rally in the fourth period to snatch the victory. Eduyn Albino netted 14 points for the winners. Fernando Tiscareno and Gael Garcia replied with 14 points each for Mexico.
