Liceo PN dominated down low during the game scoring 72 of its points in the paint compared to Truenos' 32. They outrebounded Truenos 48-34 including a 41-22 advantage in defensive rebounds. Liceo PN looked well-organized offensively handing out 24 assists comparing to just 9 passes made by Truenos' players. Argentinian power forward Cristian Amicucci (200-1985) orchestrated the victory with a double-double by scoring 24 points, 19 rebounds and 6 assists. Guard Matias Sepulveda (-1995) contributed with 23 points and 5 rebounds for the winners. Forward Nick Morales (187-1985) replied with a double-double by scoring 13 points, 14 rebounds and 4 assists for Truenos. Truenos' coach gave up on the game allowing to play ten players seeing no chance for a win. Liceo PN have a solid four-game winning streak. They keep a position of league leader. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Espanol O. have an impressive 11-game winning streak. They moved-up to second place. Truenos at the other side dropped to the eighth position with five games lost. Espanol O. will play against bottom-ranked Municipal C. (#16) in the next round which should be another easy win for them. Truenos will play against Osorno (#4) and hope to get back on the winning track.
Worth to mention about the upset in a game between Sergio Ceppi (9-4) and Arabe de Valp. (6-7), which took place in Santiago. Higher ranked Sergio Ceppi was outleveled at home by ninth ranked Arabe de Valp. 106-75 on Saturday. It ended at the same time the six-game winning streak of Sergio Ceppi. Carlos Ahuile notched a double-double by scoring 18 points and 14 rebounds (on 8-of-9 shooting from the field) to lead the effort. Even 18 points, 9 rebounds and 4 assists by Julius Holt did not help to save the game for Sergio Ceppi. Since the result was very predictable, it gave the chance for the coaches to test many bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Arabe de Valp. maintains ninth position with 6-7 record. Loser Sergio Ceppi keeps the fourth place with four games lost. They share the position with Osorno.

There were no big surprises in other games of round 14: Boston College smashed Luis Matte on the road 77-43. Espanol O. destroyed Aleman on its own court 80-48. Manquehue outscored Brisas in Santiago 85-64. Boston College managed to beat Brisas at home 64-49. Liceo Curico were defeated by Aleman on the opponent's court 69-62. Bottom-ranked Municipal C. was smashed by Osorno in a home game 78-103. Luis Matte was destroyed by Manquehue on the road 90-52. Tomas L. unfortunately lost to Liceo PN on its own court 79-91.
The most impressive performance of 14th round was 18 points, 7 rebounds and 6 assists by Jose Brahm of Manquehue.
