Here is the last round review presented by Job Market.

The game had a very big importance for second-ranked Abejas as it allowed them to take a leadership position. Abejas defeated 3rd ranked Astros in Guanajuato 81-69. Abejas forced 25 Astros turnovers. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 23 assists. It was a good game for American Markeith Cummings (198-1988, college: KSU) who led his team to a victory with 18 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists. Venezuelan point guard David Cubillan (181-1987, college: Marquette) contributed with 16 points and 8 assists for the winners. American-Puerto Rican Javier Mojica (189-1984, college: CCSU) replied with 17 points, 6 rebounds and 6 assists for Astros. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. As mentioned above they are at the top of the standings, which they share with Libertadores. Defending champion Astros keep the third place with nine games lost. They share the position with Halc.Xalapa. Just two games before the end of Regular Season and it may be the most important game of the season next round when Astros faces strong Halcones UV Xalapa trying to get back on the winning streak. Abejas will try to continue on its current victory against sixth ranked Halcones Rojos in Veracruz.
Leading Fuerza Regia (16-7) recorded its seventh loss in Monterrey. Hosts were defeated by fifth ranked Dorados (12-12) 93-89. Worth to mention a great performance of American guard Cleveland Thomas (192-1993, college: WKU, agency: Slash Sports) who helped to win the game recording 34 points (!!!), 5 rebounds, 6 assists and 4 steals (went 10 for 10 at the free throw line !!!) and Anyeuri Castillo who added 11 points and 8 rebounds during the contest. The best for the losing side was American Shonn Miller (201-1993, college: UConn) with 20 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists. Both coaches tested many bench players in such tough game. Dorados maintains fifth position with 12-12 record. Fuerza Regia at the other side dropped to the second place with seven games lost. Fuerza Regia will play on the road against Freseras in Irapuato and hopes to get back on the winning track.
A very close game took place in Xalapa between Halcones UV Xalapa and Panteras. Halcones UV Xalapa have a solid three-game winning streak. They moved-up to third place, which they share with Astros. Loser Panteras dropped to the fourth position with 11 games lost.
