Here is the last round review presented by Job Market.

The most interesting game was a derby match between two local teams from Montevideo: Welcome (#6) and Larranaga (#3). Larranaga was smashed at home by 25 points 53-78 and even the fact of playing on their own court did not help. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Larranaga. Worth to mention a great performance of Colombian Alvaro Pena (197-1995) who helped to win the game recording 23 points and 6 rebounds. Fernando Verrone (201-1988) contributed with 13 points and 8 rebounds for the winners. American forward DJ Foreman (203-1994, college: St.Louis) replied with 21 points for Larranaga. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Welcome (10-8) moved-up to fifth place, which they share with Sayago and Capitol. Larranaga at the other side dropped to the fourth position with seven games lost. Welcome is looking forward to face Sayago (#7) at home in the next round. Larranaga's supporters also look forward to another derby game next round, where their team will travel locally in Montevideo to the arena Atenas.
Another interesting game was again a derby between two teams from Montevideo: Urunday (#1) and Atenas (#8). Despite it looked like an easy game for Urunday, those rules do not exist in derby games. It's more the case of honor for local supporters and such games have that special and unique approach you cannot find in other games. Guest Atenas challenged much higher ranked Urunday giving them a very tough game, but finally losing it by four points 103-99. Worth to mention a great performance of American Tyrone Lee (203-1990, college: GVSU) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 24 points and 12 rebounds and Anthony Hilliard who added 25 points and 9 rebounds during the contest. At the losing side forward Joaquin Rodriguez (199-2003) responded with 26 points, 6 rebounds and 6 assists. Urunday have a solid three-game winning streak. They maintain first position with 15-3 record. Atenas lost fourth consecutive game. They keep the eighth place with ten games lost. Urunday will play against Tabare (#3) on the road in the next round, which may be the game of the day. Atenas' supporters look forward to another derby game next round, where their team will face at home their local rival from Montevideo Larranaga.
Very important is a road loss of second ranked Olimpia (13-5) against fifth ranked Sayago (10-8) on Tuesday night. Visiting Olimpia was crushed by Sayago in Sayago 99-77. The winners were led by Martin Chervo who had that evening a double-double by scoring 22 points, 12 rebounds and 5 assists. Even 16 points and 4 assists by Juan Diego Cabillon did not help to save the game for Olimpia. Since the result was very predictable, it gave the chance for the coaches to test many bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Sayago maintains fifth position with 10-8 record, which they share with Welcome and Capitol. Loser Olimpia keeps the second place with five games lost. Sayago will meet Welcome (#6) in the next round. Olimpia's supporters look forward to an exciting derby game next round, where their team will face at home their local rival from Montevideo Capitol.

Other games in round 4 were not that significant. U.Atletica beat Lagomar on the road 90-88. O.Mundial lost to Verdirrojo on its own court 71-81. Colon was outscored by Stockolmo in Montevideo 53-80. Bottom-ranked Miramar recorded a loss to 25 de Agosto at home 80-91. Tabare was defeated by Capitol on the opponent's court 91-74.

Lagomar - U.Atletica 88-90

No shocking result in a game when eleventh ranked U.Atletica (10-9) edged 14th ranked Lagomar (5-14) in Montevideo 90-88 on Monday. The winners were led by American center Deion McClenton (208, college: Keiser) who had that evening a double-double by scoring 10 points, 14 rebounds and 4 assists and the other American import forward Miles Bowman Jr (198-1993, college: High Point) supported him with 16 points and 6 rebounds. Even a double-double of 12 points and 15 rebounds by Venezuelan Carlos Milano (198-1985) did not help to save the game for Lagomar. Forward Federico Haller (200-1988) added 16 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists for lost side. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Lagomar's coach Alejandro Muro tried various players' combinations and tested in total eleven players in this game, but that didn't help. U.Atletica moved-up to ninth place, which they share with Stockolmo and Colon. Lagomar lost third consecutive game. They dropped to the fifteenth position with 14 games lost. Even a double-double of 13 points, 12 rebounds and 5 assists by Panamanian-American point guard Trevor Gaskins (188-1989, college: Louisiana Tech, agency: Pro Sports) did not help to save the game for O.Mundial. Colombian power forward Santiago Serna (203-2001) added 16 points and 12 rebounds for lost side. Five Verdirrojo and four O.Mundial players scored in double figures. Verdirrojo moved-up to thirteenth place, which they share with defeated O.Mundial. O.Mundial lost fifth consecutive game. Stockolmo - Colon 80-53

We could consider it a predictable result in the game between close teams when tenth ranked Stockolmo (10-9) rolled over 9th ranked Colon (10-9) in Montevideo 80-53 on Monday. The winners were led by guard Facundo Terra (185-1998) who had that evening a double-double by scoring 15 points, 7 rebounds and 11 assists and Argentinian power forward Jose Peralta (202-1995) supported him with 11 points and 18 rebounds. Four Stockolmo players scored in double figures. Stockolmo's coach Andres Borroni felt very confident that he used entire bench which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Even a double-double of 16 points and 10 rebounds by American power forward Quinterian McConico (203-1995, college: AAMU) did not help to save the game for Colon. Point guard Diego Alvarez (180-1990) added 5 points, 7 rebounds and 6 assists for lost side. Stockolmo have a solid four-game winning streak.
