There was no surprise in Managua where 8th ranked Tigres (8-5) were crushed by top-ranked Jaguares (12-0) 78-54 on Saturday. Jaguares forced 22 Tigres turnovers. Forward Lesther Castillo (-2003) scored 18 points and 6 rebounds to lead the charge for the winners and the former international center Andy Perez (200-1999) chipped in 12 points and 5 rebounds during the contest. Mario Valdez responded with 13 points and 8 rebounds and Kevin Olivas scored 9 points and 8 rebounds.
