Atletico Nacional overcame Caballos to claim LPB title. Atletico made 16-of-18 free shots (88.9 percent) during the game. Point guard Joel Munoz (183-1980) orchestrated the victory with a double-double by scoring 10 points, 8 rebounds and 10 assists. Naturalized American Adalberto Rojas (200-1986) contributed with 17 points and 9 rebounds for the winners. Four Atletico players scored in double figures. Gil Atencio (202-1996, college: St.Clair) answered with 6 points and 15 rebounds and swingman Jose Montenegro (191-1998) added 14 points and 5 rebounds in the effort for Caballos. Caballos' coach rotated ten players seeing no chance for a win.
