Puerto Rico triumphed at 2016 Centrobasket U15 Championship beating the Dominican Republic 74-67 in the Final game. Puerto Rico started with a 17-11 lead and added a 23-14 rally in the second period. Dominican Republic managed to post two narrow wins in the second half, but could not win the game. Miranda top-scored for the winners with 28 points and 12 rebounds, while Curbelo added 18. Jones replied with 23 points in a loss. Mexico finished third and Panama ended up on the fourth place.   [read more]

Puerto Rico celebrate title in San Juan - 1 Year ago

FINAL Puerto Rico - U.S. Virgin Islands 101-57 Puerto Rico fired past US Virgin Islands to celebrate the title in San Juan. The hosts dominated from start to finish to march to the trophy. Puerto Rico unloaded 47 points in the first half to take a 23-point halftime lead. They followed with a 54-point effort in the second half to coast to the success.
