Real Esteli - Brumas 90-68

Real Esteli clinched LSB Clausura title. They stormed past Brumas in the decisive fifth game of the championship series to lift the trophy. Real Esteli dominated down low during the game scoring 50 of its points in the paint compared to Brumas' 22. They outrebounded Brumas 55-27 including a 36-17 advantage in offensive rebounds. The best player for the winners was Puerto Rican guard Jezreel De Jesus (185-1991, agency: Interperformances) who had a double-double by scoring 40 points (!!!) and 13 rebounds. The former international guard Jared Ruiz (188-1992) chipped in 20 points, 9 rebounds and 6 assists. Dominican Xavier de la Rosa (196-1991) produced 16 points, 6 rebounds and 6 assists and Dominican center Jose Familia (201-1998) added 16 points and 10 rebounds respectively for the guests. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games.
