San Simon clinch Libobasquet title - 8 days ago

3-1 in the Final series. In Game 4 San Simon grabbed an important 90-89 win to close the campaign. They led 17-14 at the end of the first period, while Pichincha produced a good second quarter and took a 42-37 half-time advantage. The third period was however decisive in the game as San Simon needed a strong push for a 71-63 lead. They managed to keep the win despite losing the last period.   [read more]

San Simon takes the lead in the Final series - 10 days ago

93-91 win to take 2-1 lead. San Simon played better in the first half and managed to win both periods to take 44-37 halftime advantage. Michael Liabo, Jon Cathey-Macklin (206-F, college: Tarleton St.) and Cristhian Camargo (194-F-92) kept San Simon in front at 68-63, however Pichincha dominated the second half. 2 San Simon celebrated an easy 94-68 win. They led 5 points at the end of the first period and enjoyed a 45-37 half-time advantage.
