Bolivia looked better at the start of the game as they held their opponents to just 6 points in the starting frame. They grabbed a 9-point lead after ten minutes. But Colombia soon rebounded and overwhelmed Bolivia in the second term. Francisco Castro (-92) reigned in the paint and paced Colombia to a 28:26 lead at halftime. Colombian team continued to dominate after the major break as they cleared off to an 8-point distance with ten minutes to go. Bolivia were not able to recover and threaten the margin. Colombia had a comfortable advantage on the boards and coasted to the victory at the end. Francisco Castro came up with 19 points and 19 rebounds for the winners. Edwin Cortez added 15 points and 11 boards for Colombia. Gabriel Ramos (-92) answered with 16 points for Bolivia. Mauricio Tola (-92) had 11 points and 8 rebounds in defeat.

Chilean U17 National Team secured the second win at the South American Championship yesterday. They dismantled Bolivia to climb at 2-2 record in Group B. Bolivia suffered the third straight loss and remained at the bottom of the ladder.
Chile dominated every facet of the encounter and started to take off in the opening frame. They outgunned Bolivian counterparts 25:12 in the starting quarter to build a comfortable advantage

Chilean U17 National Team secured the second win at the South American Championship yesterday. They dismantled Bolivia to climb at 2-2 record in Group B. Bolivia suffered the third straight loss and remained at the bottom of the ladder. Chile dominated every facet of the encounter and started to take off in the opening frame. They outgunned Bolivian counterparts 25:12 in the starting quarter to build a comfortable advantage. Chile stiffened defense in the second term and held Bolivia to only 5 points in the stanza to accumulate a confident 34-point cushion at the interval. Pavez and Hardy Weissohn (-93) came up with 11 points each in the first half. The onslaught continued in the third frame. Bolivia canned just 10 points as Chile ensured an insurmountable 43-point lead with ten minutes left in the game. Bolivia stopped the bleeding in the fourth period as they won by 3 points to sweeten the pill at the end. Franco Morales (179-G-92) provided 14 points for Chile. Francisco Pavez (-92) and Hardy Weissohn had 11 points apiece in the victory. Gabriel Ramos (-92) answered with 12 points and 5 boards for Bolivia. Cristhian Camargo (-93) posted 11 points and 6 boards in defeat. Bolivia will wrap up their campaign against Colombia today.
