Abejas clinched LNBP title. They held off Astros in the fourth game of the championship series to complete the sweep. The hosts were tied at the half but managed to speed up in last two quarters eventually winning the game. Abejas forced 19 Astros turnovers. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 23 assists. American-Argentinian guard Erik Thomas (195-1995, college: New Orleans) fired 28 points and 6 rebounds (on 11-of-14 shooting from the field) for the winners. American forward Wayne Langston (200-1993, college: Murray St.) chipped in a double-double by scoring 12 points, 13 rebounds and 4 assists. The former international guard Jorge Gutierrez (191-1988, college: California) produced 26 points, 7 rebounds and 6 assists and American power forward Brooks DeBisschop (206-1998, college: NAU) added 12 points and 11 rebounds respectively for lost side. Four Astros players scored in double figures.

Team Punto CHG - Team Molten 153-138

Team Punto CHG celebrated victory in a traditional LNBP All-Star Game held in Jalisco this year. Brooks DeBisschop (206-F/C-1998, college: NAU) scored 22 points to lead the winners. He was named the MVP.
Team Molten stayed in front in the first half. They posted a 79-70 halftime lead. But Team Punto CHG responded with a massive 47-30 run in the third term to surge ahead. They maintained the lead throughout the fourth quarter and rallied to the victory. Durrell Summers (196-SF-1989, college: Michigan St.) provided 21 points, while Vander Blue (196-SG-1992, college: Marquette) added 20 points for Team Punto CHG. Jordan Stevens (182-PG-1994, college: Midwestern St.) answered with 31 points for Team Molten. Jordan Loveridge (198-F-1993, college: Utah) had 25 points in the loss.
Manny Hernandez (190-G/F, college: Lynchburg) celebrated victory in the Slam Dunk Contest, while Gary Ricks (185-G-1991, college: Drake) earned Three-Point Shootout crown.
