Young amongst PR best! - May 15, 2012

The second most remarkable performance last week in the Puerto Rican BSN league was 30-year old Trinidad and Tobago point guard Ian Young (191-PG-81) of Guaynabo. Young impressed basketball fans with 22 points, 5 rebounds and 3 assists. However despite Youngs performance, Guaynabo still went under in a close 100-96 game to the number1 ranked Mayaguez (5-1). National team 6-3 guard, Ian Young, contributed 12pts for Guaynabo in a 76-70 win over San German in the Puerto Rican BSN league on April 29! Young was recently signed by Guynabo following a short stint in the Venezuelan league with Gaiteros averaging 13.5ppg & 2.9 assists in eleven games. DeVaughn Lamont selected the top Trinidad and Tobago playing abroad in last week's games - Apr 15, 2012

We bring you last week's top performances from Trinidad and Tobagos who are playing abroad and who all have had prior experience of national team duties at youth or senior level. This week's number one is former international forward DeVaughn Lamont (208-84), who plays in the Venezuelan LPB. He could not help one of league's weakest teams Toros (6-28) in their last game.
