Traditionally, every week we bring you a list of the top performances of Venezuelans who are currently playing abroad.

Greivis Vasquez
Greivis Vasquez
#1. This week's number one is an international point guard Greivis Vasquez (197-87, agency: Interperformances, college: Maryland, currently plays in NBA). He led New Orleans Hornets to a victory over the Philadelphia 76ers (17-23) 111-99 in the NBA in Tuesday night's game. Vasquez was MVP of the game. He recorded 23 points and added 9 passes in 36 minutes on the court; quite an impressive performance considering it's only Vasquez's third season in pro basketball. The New Orleans Hornets have rather weak 13-27 record this season. Vasquez has individually a very good year with high stats. He averages: 14.2ppg, 4.6rpg, 9.2apg, 2FGP: 45.6%, 3FGP: 38.0% and FT: 76.2% in the 40 games he played so far. Vasquez is currently a member of the Venezuelan senior national team.

John Cox

Paris-Levallois (1-0) is placed second in group J. Cox's overall stats this season are: 8.6ppg, 1.7rpg, 1.7apg, 2FGP: 39.5%, 3FGP: 31.6% and FT: 72.7%. He is a naturalized American.
