Colombian point guard Edgar Moreno recently hired by the Pioneros the Quintana Roa to strenght the roster to face the post season, has al very good start its team is already leading its series 2-0 agains the Soles. Moreno was invited to join the team by the team coaching staff, Julio Toro and Jose Ramn Melendez who knows him from Cucuta Norte, Edgar had 9 points , 7 asists and 3 rebounds in the first ga,e and 11 points, 6 rebounds and 2 assists in the second, Morenos is averagin 33 minutes per game in a stars loaded roster, this is the thir international team for Edgar who was former member of the Cocodrilos de Caracas and the Indios in Puerto Rico.

The 2011, is coming to its end, without changes in the situation of the Colombian Basketball, beyond some good results of the National Teams in the Southamerican challenges, the local Basketball still have not found a leadership that takes it to a better competitions level. Internatonally just Hanner Mosquera Perea and Freddy Asprilla looks as true prospects, both players are already linked to the NCAA Div1, Asprilla is waiting his time at Canisius College, and Hanner Mosquerea Perea is beginig an very promise career with his commitment with the well known Indiana University program, Perea will be the second Colombian in the Hoosiers after Magnus Pelkowski.
The 2011 Federation Cup had an interesting final, but still needs to be longer and with more stable teams.
