Arrieros starts the semifinals in the Federation Cup as favourite thanks to its better performance in the regular season, but the power of Arrieros and Bucaros are ready to challenge them .

ARRIER0S VS PIRATAS:
Arrieros already have a stronger roster, at least 4 of its starters can be a scoring threat, the powerfull perimeter of Guillent, 0rtiz and Aragn are the perfect fit for the inside force of Alejandro Flores, Piratas is playing a hard defense, but still has limitations of the ofensive side, and will need another great perfomance of Ginaluca Bacci to help David Harrison and Patricio Briones in the scoring.
The big question of Arrieros is the health of Heissler Guillent who is under therapy to heal some back spams, but with Guillent at his 100%, Arrieros is a hard team to stop, problably coach Hernn Giraldo did not use Guillent full time in the series , sending Santiago Jaramillo to the court more minutes, in defense Norbey Aragn will be the one to guard David Harrison, while Harrison will have a hard job also guarding Aragn, Bacci will have to guard Guilento and Romero will guard 0rtiz in two very interisting pairings, Forbes , Cassiano and Fuentes will share time guarding Flores, while Arrieros will put a combination of Marin, Perez and Mosquera to guard Briones, for Piratas the key will be keep strong on defense and also very agresive in the ofensive side forcing Guillent and 0rtiz to play defense, Arrieros key should be keep the ball under control and force David Harrison to run on defense, but also avoid Bacci's quicknes of fastbreak and penetrations.

BUCAR0S VS CUCUTA N0RTE:
A very hard series, Bucaros with the new energy that Kevin Sowell brings is ready to challenge the defending Champions, in last year finals Bucaros was leading until Lavor Postell injury, now this year the Bucaros wants a revenge, but Cucuta Norte is solid, the addition of Chris Jackson gives to the team a real power inside, while the versatility of Herrera and Torres makes them a very hard team to guard.
For Bucaros the key should be run in the fastbreak, and moving the ball in the ofensive side to find Sowell or Cortes in open spots, Cucuta will try to go hard inside with Jackson and Bayona or play a 4 guards rotation with Moreno, Renteria, Torres and Herrera in the court, Bucaros will need more accuracy of Miguel Marriaga tto help Guevara in the post ofensive.
Cucuta will have to choose between fight in the Federation Cup of fight in the Southamercian Championship because ther will have to play 8 games in nine days.
